Some of the necessary fields are:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Type<\/strong>: Categorize the transaction as <strong>Income<\/strong> or <strong>Expense.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transaction number<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Paid a<\/strong>t: Add the date of payment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Currency code<\/strong>: Specify the currency code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Currency rate<\/strong>: Add the currency rate if the transaction isn&#8217;t in USD.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Account name<\/strong>: Specify the transaction account according to your listed accounts on Akaunting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Category name<\/strong>: Deposit, Sales, POS sale, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payment method<\/strong>: Credit Card, Bank transfer, Cash, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Save<\/strong> the file as <strong>XLS<\/strong> or <strong>XLSX<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload your file to Akaunting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Import <\/strong>and wait for a few seconds. This may vary depending on the size of the data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll get a notification on the sidebar notification icon.
