Also, all Invoices\/Bills status must be in Unpaid or Draft.<\/em><\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Split Transaction into Multiple Invoices:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Banking<\/strong> on the Navigation Menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Transactions<\/strong> from the dropdown options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Transactions page, click <strong>New Income.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the <strong>Date <\/strong>field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the<strong> Amount <\/strong>field<strong> <\/strong>with the exact amount as the Invoices you intend to connect. (<em>If a customer has three <\/em><strong><em>Unpaid<\/em><\/strong><em>\/<\/em><strong><em>Draft<\/em><\/strong><em> invoices, the total of all Invoices is the Transaction amount.<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select a customer from the <strong>Customer<\/strong> field to link the transaction to the Customer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payment method, Account, Category<\/strong>, and <strong>Transaction number <\/strong>fields can be left in default.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the three horizontal dots at the top page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Connect<\/strong> from the dropdown options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the pop-up window, Click <strong>Add an Invoice<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select multiple Invoices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Transaction is split into multiple Invoices from a Customer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For Invoices with partial payment, you need to enter the outstanding amounts when creating the Transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-84b2939de8d5396b34201eb7a9fc8fb2 is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\" style=\"font-style:italic;font-weight:400\">\n<p>Total Invoice payment due = $1000<br>Partial payment = $700<br>When connecting a transaction to the invoice, the amount of the transaction = $300.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Split Transaction into Multiple Bills:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Banking<\/strong> on the Navigation Menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Transactions<\/strong> from the dropdown options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Transactions page, click <strong>New Expense.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the <strong>Date <\/strong>field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the<strong> Amount <\/strong>field<strong> <\/strong>with the exact amount as the Bills you intend to connect.
