The Customer&#8217;s Name and Payment Currency are required fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Add an Item <\/strong>to add services or products. Enter the item name, description, quantity, and price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The invoice total price is automatically calculated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After entering the necessary details, click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add <strong>Notes<\/strong> to invoices for instructions to the recipient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06151725\/you-can-add-notes-1024x576.png\" alt=\"Add notes to Invoices on Akaunting\" class=\"wp-image-559\" srcset=\"https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06151725\/you-can-add-notes-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06151725\/you-can-add-notes-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06151725\/you-can-add-notes-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06151725\/you-can-add-notes-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06151725\/you-can-add-notes.png 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Advanced <\/strong>option lets you define a <strong>Footer<\/strong>, <strong>Category<\/strong> and upload <strong>Attachments<\/strong> where necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding Discounts to Invoices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When creating an invoice, you can apply a global discount or limit the discount to specific invoice items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discounts applied to specific invoice items are called <strong>Line discounts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add line discounts to an invoice, you need to enable the feature in the <a href=\"https:\/\/akaunting.com\/hc\/docs\/settings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">settings<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings <\/strong>on the <strong>Sidebar<\/strong> and select <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/akaunting.com\/hc\/docs\/settings\/localization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Localization<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Localization page, scroll down to <strong>Other &gt; Discount Location.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Both Line and Total <\/strong>to have both line and global discounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, to add a Line discount:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select <strong>New Item <\/strong>while creating an invoice<strong>. <\/strong>Enter details of your product or services &#8211; name, description, quantity, and amount.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Below the <strong>Price <\/strong>input box, click on <strong>Add Tax.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>New Tax <\/strong>from the dropdown option and enter the required details &#8211;
