Add your company&#8217;s branding, pricing, notes, and attachments as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06164108\/estimates-dropdown.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creating an Estimate;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Sales<\/strong> on the Navigation Menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Estimates<\/strong> in the drop-down options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Estimates page, click on <strong>New Estimate.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter Company and Billing details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The company and billing details include but are not limited to <strong>Customer<\/strong>, <strong>Title<\/strong>, <strong>Logo, Date, Order number, and more.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a recipient to the Estimate by selecting <strong>Add a Customer.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06164152\/new-estimate-1024x576.png\" alt=\"Creating an Estimate\" class=\"wp-image-596\" srcset=\"https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06164152\/new-estimate-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06164152\/new-estimate-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06164152\/new-estimate-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06164152\/new-estimate-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/06164152\/new-estimate.png 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on <strong>New Customer, <\/strong>and enter the customer details. The Customer&#8217;s Name and Payment Currency are required fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Add an Item <\/strong>to add services or products. Enter the item name, description, quantity, and price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Estimate total price is automatically calculated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After entering the necessary details, click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can add <strong>Notes<\/strong> to Estimates for instructions to the recipient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Advanced <\/strong>option lets you define a <strong>Footer<\/strong>, <strong>Category<\/strong> and upload <strong>Attachments<\/strong> where necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><code><em>Before Creating an Estimate, please note that the Estimates feature is not by default on the Standard plan and requires purchasing the app separately or subscribing to the <\/em><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/akaunting.com\/plans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Elite Plan<\/a><\/em><\/strong><em>.<\/em><\/code><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Create and customize professional Estimates that make your small business stand out to customers.
