{"id":598,"date":"2023-04-06T16:43:03","date_gmt":"2023-04-06T13:43:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/akaunting.com\/hc\/docs\/invoices-estimates\/sending-an-estimate\/"},"modified":"2023-11-23T10:41:31","modified_gmt":"2023-11-23T07:41:31","slug":"sending-an-estimate","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/akaunting.com\/hc\/docs\/invoices-and-estimates\/sending-an-estimate\/","title":{"rendered":"Sending an Estimate"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To send an Estimate using Akaunting, you need to <a href=\"https:\/\/akaunting.com\/hc\/docs\/invoices-and-estimates\/creating-an-estimate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Create an Estimate<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on <strong>Sales <\/strong>in the Navigation Menu to reveal a drop-down.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Estimates.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the Estimates dashboard, click <strong>New Estimate <\/strong>in the top right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the required Estimates details: <strong>Title<\/strong>, <strong>Logo, Billing information, Date, Order number, and more.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a recipient by selecting <strong>Add a Customer.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>New Customer, <\/strong>and enter the customer details. The Customer&#8217;s Name and Payment Currency are required fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add service or product information, quantity, and price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If applicable, add Discounts and Taxes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After entering the necessary details, click <strong>Send To<\/strong>. The Estimate is sent via email to the recipient.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><code>Note that you need to define an email address for the recipient to send emails.<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can also share a link to the Estimate with the recipient.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><code><em>You can add <\/em><strong><em>Notes<\/em><\/strong><em> to Estimates for instructions to the recipient.<\/em><\/code><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><code><em>The <\/em><strong><em>Advanced <\/em><\/strong><em>option lets you define a <\/em><strong><em>Footer<\/em><\/strong><em>, <\/em><strong><em>Category<\/em><\/strong><em> and upload <\/em><strong><em>Attachments<\/em><\/strong><em> as necessary.<\/em><\/code><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To send an Estimate using Akaunting, you need to Create an Estimate.
