You can also see a list of all your bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/07114101\/image-6-1024x576.png\" alt=\"Managing Bills: Manage your bills on Akaunting\" class=\"wp-image-635\" srcset=\"https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/07114101\/image-6-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/07114101\/image-6-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/07114101\/image-6-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/07114101\/image-6-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/07114101\/image-6.png 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Managing Bills:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Purchases <\/strong>on the <strong>Navigation menu<\/strong> and select <strong>Bills<\/strong> from the drop-down options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Bills dashboard, Bills are sorted by<strong> Date<\/strong>, <strong>Status<\/strong>, <strong>Vendor, Bill number,<\/strong> and <strong>Amount<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hover on a Bill to reveal the options to <strong>Edit<\/strong>, <strong>Duplicate<\/strong>, and <strong>Add payment<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the three dots to reveal more options &#8211; <strong>Print, Download PDF, Cancel, and Delete.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Checking Bill&#8217;s checkbox reveals options just above the Bills listing. You can mark Mark as Received, Cancel, Delete, or Export bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Editing a Bill<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on a Bill on the Bills dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Bill detail page, select <strong>Edit <\/strong>in the top right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update the necessary details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>From the Bill details page, you can find the options to <strong>Duplicate, Print, Download pdf, Cancel,<\/strong> or <strong>Delete<\/strong> a Bill by clicking on the three dots at the top right corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Scan paper invoices\/bills with <a href=\"https:\/\/akaunting.com\/apps\/receipt\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Receipts<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Changing the status of a Bill<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, created bills have the <strong>Draft<\/strong> status. You can change the status to <strong>Received, Partial,<\/strong> or <strong>Paid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/t4755221.p.clickup-attachments.com\/t4755221\/70286b1c-804b-403f-8f45-65b1ed2a77b9\/image.png\" alt=\"Bills status on Akaunting\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To change the status of a Bill to <strong>Received<\/strong>, click <strong>Mark Received<\/strong> from the Bills details page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Changing the status to <strong>Paid<\/strong> requires adding a payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you make part payment for a bill, the status will be <strong>Partial<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Check out how to <a href=\"https:\/\/akaunting.com\/hc\/docs\/bills\/adding-payment-to-a-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">add a payment to a bill<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Set Default Bill Tab<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Purchases <\/strong>on the <strong>Navigation menu<\/strong> and select <strong>Bills<\/strong> from the drop-down options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Bills List page, Click the Pin icon on a tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This sets that Tab as the default.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1690\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 2880 \/ 1690;\" width=\"2880\" controls src=\"https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/15143938\/pin-tab-bill.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When you next visit the Bills page, the Pinned Tab will be the default loading page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You can manage created bills from the Bills page.
