This opens a pop-up window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the pop-up window, you can adjust the payment details, such as the <strong>Date, Amount, Payment method<\/strong>, and <strong>Account<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Bill status is updated to <strong>Paid <\/strong>and recorded in your expense account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can send a payment receipt. However, you must define an email address in the vendor contact details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><code><em>Note that when adding payment to a bill Akaunting will update the bill status as Partial if you record a part payment.<\/em><\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editing or Deleting Payment on a Bill<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can Edit or Delete a payment for a Bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To <strong>Edit<\/strong> Payment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From the Bills dashboard, select a Bill with <strong>Paid<\/strong> status.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/assets.akaunting.com\/hc\/2023\/04\/07121302\/edit-payment.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the Bill detail page, go to the <strong>Make Payment <\/strong>section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Edit payment<\/strong>.
