Akaunting 1.1 Released
Reading Time: 2 minutesVisit here to meet the newer version of Akaunting – 3.0
Today we’re thrilled to announce the availability of the Akaunting 1.1 “Import” stable release. Akaunting 1.1 version is available for download and update from the admin panel’s update center. Here you can see the one-click update instructions for more details.
This release is named “Import” based on one of the most important features added.
Importing items, customers, invoices, and a lot more.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to Akaunting 1.1 with bug reports, tests, suggestions, and development.
Now, let’s see what we have new in this release:
Import Everything
From our ideas section in the forums, the import was one of the most requested features, so we added it to the 1.1 version.
You can import items, invoices, revenues, customers, bills, payments, and vendors. There is also a sample file for download for each of those parts.
Duplicate Records
Another cool feature of this update is the ability to duplicate records from the listing pages. You can duplicate almost everything, starting from items to invoices and customers. This feature will speed up the creation of new records.
Create Customer/Vendor
In the 1.0 version, you first had to create a customer or vendor, create an invoice or bill, and assign it to them. After the 1.1 updates, you can create a customer and/or vendor from the invoice/bill creation page without leaving it.
New Translations
Thanks to our community and especially translators at Crowdin, the 1.1 release comes with 2 new translations and 4 updated translations.
Dutch and Vietnamese are the new languages added, making Akaunting a worldwide accounting software translated into 12 languages.
Several Fixes
We’ve also fixed a couple of bugs in this release, such as overlapping content, currency roundup, and a lot more. You can find the full changelog on our GitHub page.
Enjoy it!
