Cannot install Apps from Akaunting 2.0.4

Hello,

I created a fresh installation of Akaunting 2.0.4 and noticed that it was impossible to fully install any application from the store.

It was installed on a CentOS server, running php 7.3.

Firstly, the view page for any application cannot be shown unless you use English as default language, it shows briefly and gets blank.

But, by setting my default language to English I can access the app install view and after clicking the install button the install popup shows up, everything goes fine but then nothing more, the success message appear and the only button shown is the install one.

The application seems to be partially installed, the files are present in the "modules" folder and I am prompted when an update is available for my app, however the application is not available through the "settings" panel nor can it be accessed by using the url directly.

I searched through my database and noticed that the table "xxx_modules" is not populated with my newly installed app, and by filling the record myself I now have access to the "uninstall" and "deactivate" button on the app view page.

I encountered this with the WooCommerce paid app and all of the free ones.

Does anybody else encounter this behavior? Any advice?

Thank you for your feedback, here is what I did:

App install page:
I did try to clear the cache, but the result remain the same, the button stays at "Install" instead of "Uninstall" and "Deactivate".

App view page:
Sorry for the misunderstanding but I was talking about the single app view, where you can find the install button, not the index page.

The app page can indeed be viewed in languages other than french, I tried English and Türkish successfully, please find below what happens when I try to look at an app page in french. Besides I have the same issue on the cloud version of Akaunting where I set my account in french.

I encounter this behavior by using either Chrome or Safari on Mac OS 10.15.3.

Hello Simon,

I'm able to reproduce app view error in Frech, it seems to be caused by the translation not being escaped. Will fix this asap.

As for the installation, can you please run the cache:clear command and try again?

Yes I did try that again without any luck, the artisan cache and the browser cache were cleared and still the only button displayed is "install" and furthermore the settings options are not available.

The French issue has been resolved, can you please apply this fix:

As for installation, can you please send us an FTP/SSH account to support[at]akaunting[dot]com so we could what's going wrong there as we're not able to reproduce it on our servers?

Hi Denis,

I confirm this fix seems to be working for the french language I can access the app page.

I sent you your FTP credentials by e-mail, please let me know if I can be of assistance.
