Does Double-Entry module works with other Akaunting features?

After installation of Double Entry module: 

1. Does Double-Entry works with other Akaunting features? Or it is isolated stand-alone module? 

For instance, if I register bank transfers, make invoicing, etc. from Akaunting basic functionality, will such actions automatically create proper journal entries in Double-Entry part? 

2. If Double-Entry works with other modules, can I link particular ledger accounts to certain operation, or ledger account system is prescribed? 

In general, I am looking for full style double-entry accounting. I have my own set of ledger accounts, and I want to have all operations in the company to be done within this set only, so I need some freedom to build accounting in a way I want it to be. Hope it is possible with Akounting; we can do some coding if necessary.

For sure that the double-entry app is integrated with other Akaunting features but was not able to understand your second question. What do you exactly mean with "operation"?
