GST and HSN as per India requirements

Dear Friends,
I'm thinking of taking my venture with Akaunting starting from April 2021 which is the beginning of our financial year in India.

I did come across about the Custom Field app which could eventually take care of the HSN requirement by adding a custom field and introducing the value for each item.

Question is, can this HSN value be also displayed in the Invoice using the same Custom Field app?

The other point is, in India, we need to split the Tax 50/50 and show in the invoice instead of showing it as a single item. Is this also possible using the Custom Field?

I am thinking of buying the Custom Field app, but want to be sure that it will feed my requirements precisely so I can go confidently purchasing it.

Any guidance in these regards would be much appreciated.

Best Regards,
Sathish

Hello,

Yes, Custom Fields are shown in the invoice too. However, I wasn't able to understand your question regarding tax. Can you please elaborate? A screenshot/video may help.

Hello Sathish,

HSN is possible via the Custom Fields app.

Unfortunately, split tax is not available atm. However, you can create SGST and CGST as separate taxes and apply them both, instead of one GST.
