Offline availability Akaunting

Hello,

We are currently using Akaunting but we have a lot of problems with our internet connection. We are looking for someone who can write code or help us to make Akaunting also offline available.

We should be able to add (for example) new customers and invoices when offline, but also look up customers (for example) while offline. This could be by having a local database, but if you have any other suggestion, that works as well, please let us know. We are more than happy to pay for it.

I think this is not an akaunting issue and what you want don't require coding.

Question, how many users are accessing your akaunting and are they in different locations?

Top of my mind, create a small server using rasbery pi. Or you can just launch it locally. And people with you inside the same network can access it.

Thanks for your interesting approach. There will be 5 people working on it. Most of the time they will be in the same location, but the chance is very big one or two will be working on different locations (even via mobile/tablet). Do you think that we can do it than with a small server as well?

Hello Nathalie, yes you can, but you will need technical help from person who skilled with Linux Apache Mysql PHP to build your internal server and Networking skill for port forwarding or DDNS
