I'm currently trying to access the public instance (https://app.akaunting.com/) however I'm just getting a 500 Internal Server error.
This just a problem for me, or is it occurring for everyone?
I've also created a new mock company to see if that would work; it gets created, but I still get 500 errors when I try to access it.

The problem has been fixed, you had deleted all categories while Transfer is required. Can you please confirm on your side?
After login, you should create a new category with Other as type. Otherwise, transfers won't work.
There is a protection to the Transfer category so I'm curious how did you manage to delete it?

The 500 is still occurring for me, may I just verify has the fix only been committed, or has it actually been pushed to prod yet?
Also, I don't believe I deleted all categories. Upon creating my account over 6 months ago I think I may have removed one or two of the default ones (can't remember exactly), I most certainly didn't remove them all.
It works fine for me, try Ctrl+F5.
