Customer Info - Country

Hi, I would like to develop a new apps in your website. However, my apps is required new field (country) and set phone field as mandatory field which is storing in customer table. Besides that, I need to modify few original view files (eg: sales/customers/2/edit) too. In short, will it be a big issue when i submit my files for new apps launching?
