Modules - basic operations

Hi,
can some one help with a basic code snippet for executing basic operations, from a module, 
to create an invoice, add payment and income etc?
Cant find any documentation on available functions/methods.

Our goal is to integrate a thirdparty erp api in to the akaunting system, so as to add more features,
