Uk accounts MTD (making tax digital)

HI 

is there any plans on working on an API for new uk tax reporting.

As far as i am aware their is no open-source accounting software that has this feature, so their is plenty of scope to aquire custumers from the likes of Xero. As every one that pays VAT must be useing this MTD ready accounting software by April 2019

I am not a developer but would be willing to learn if any one would want help with this API.

How much would you pay if I make such an app for Akaunting?

Thank you for your offer but my business dosent pay VAT at the moment so I have no need for it.

But for the greater good of the of the project it would still be worth while doing.

As there would be thousands of buissnes in the uk who would not even look in to using Akaunting app as it is not MTD ready. Which is a shame as it's a brilliant app.

I think this would be an extremely good idea.

@Marco Bridge - I may be interested in paying to have this module/app developed.
I would obviously want all rights to the module and the source code on completion and full 12 month support for the application.

How much would you want to charge me for such development ?

Anyone working on this? Unfortunately without a MTD ("making tax digital") reporting capability Akaunting will be of little use to UK based customers soon. Already all UK businesses that are registered for VAT (value added tax) have to use MTD reporting, and it's planned that this will be obligatory for the remaining businesses by 2023
