I am using Akaunting Version 3.1.8 (self-hosted) and I am not able to create any invoices, bills etc as it always redirects to the Users page with the message 'Action Required. Not able to create a new user.'.
It sounds like your Akaunting installation is missing a required user role or permission. This often happens if no default user is properly assigned or if the company setup isn't complete. Try checking your user roles under Settings > Users and ensure at least one admin user is linked to the company. Also, make sure your business is fully configured under Settings > Company.
I also had this in the latest version and I had to remove and add back the API key.
