After-tax profit?

I just discovered Akaunting and am loving it, so forgive me if I am missing something basic.
I have set up the VAT tax for my company and it is correctly reflected in the invoiced and reports. However, I can't seem to reflect taxes on the dashboard in any way. The profits and money streams data sources only show before tax revenue.

Should I manually input taxes as a paid expense for them to show? Shouldn't they be accounted automatically given the whole system? Maybe it's just a limitation of the current dashboard.
