Hello All
I'm using 1.13.18 (still trying to upgrade to 2.0.3 but unsuccessful).
We have two investors in the company. One of them invest CAD and the other USD.
We setup two accounts for the investors and both had their respective initial amounts.
We setup two cash accounts one in USD and the other CAD.
The default currency in the system is CAD.
In the currencies, CAD is 1 and USD is 0.75
I need to transfer $3652 CAD to $2930 USD
So we transfer $3652 from Cash CAD and in Cash USD we get $3652 instead of the exchanged $2930 USD.
This is causing confusion for us. Is this not how it should work?
Additionally if we transfer the amount from the USD investor and apply it to the USD balance it does so 1:1, but if we do CAD investor to Cash USD it doesn't work.
*doesn't work as desired. Shows the transfer as much more even when entering the USD amount.
After checking directly in the database I see what is happening. It doesn't matter what I set the currency conversion at after the currency is set on the invoice. It doesn't update it I guess that makes sense. For anyone else you have to refresh the currency rate by either recreating the invoice or possibly by simply changing the currency saving it and then setting it back.
