Currency conversion not working

I installed both live currency and crypt currency plugins. Now... I have accounts in euros, USD and BTC. If I want to do an account transfer, it will only work as long as both the receiving and sending accounts have the same currency, but it will not convert for example from euros to dollars or from dollars to bitcoin. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
