Currency conversion problem

I base in Hong Kong and set HKD as default currency.

I entered sales orders (invoices) in HKD, while I also entered some purchased in USD, however the purchases (which are in USD) do not converted to HKD shown on the Dashboard. E.g. I purchased US$800 of goods it should be then equal to HK$5600 (as I set currency rate = 8), however these purchases are shown total $800 on the Dashboard. This led to problem in calculate profit and item performances. 

Does anyone can help or faced similar problem and advise? Thanks in advance.

I face the same problem and posted another query around payments in multiple currencies. I receive payment in one and disburse expenses in another. Because the entire dashboard is generate around one currency, it becomes difficult to see correct income and profits.
