Customer not receiving email when invoice is marked as paid

Whenever we create a invoice for a customer and mark it as paid, no email is sent out to the customer informing it is paid. Is there maybe a extra button or setting that we have change to make this work?

I guess invoice status is not sent to your clients when they are paid. But if you need to send invoices with the paid status you can get a link for the invoice over the More Actions menu.
