Discount per item

How can I do a $ disc per item?

Go to Settings > Localisation.

You should find a field "Discount Location". Choose the option "At line"

Thanks, is there a way to not tax the discount?
If I want to give someone a$5 coupon. It taxes it and makes it $5.30. I tried to discount item and total and both do same. As an example I have a $50 item that rings up $53. After discount should be $48 but it's coming up $47.70

Unfortunately, that's not possible atm.

Hi, you can fix a $ or % amount, depending on your needs, it works. I was having issues with the total but changed to LINE according to suggestions here and solved my problem and I use $ amount.
