How can I add negative value to an item?

Hello I imported some items from Wave, among them there are two items called "discount" that need to have a negative value, but as soon as I edit them I can't save because it doesn't let me set a negative value. Is there any way to assign a negative value to an item? Thanks in advance.

I came to know Akounting today, hoping I have finally found something better than Buxfer. Unfortunately I couldn't input negative values when opening accounts. Is this possible? If not, will it ever be possible in the near future? Thank you.

I have to make discount after charging taxes, should create negative product but it not work :(
