How to add or subtract item inventory(quantity)?

There is a field `quantity` in the database, but there is no place to display it.

I can't increase the value of `quantity` by making a purchase operation.

I turned over the document but couldn't find any description about `quantity`.

Have you bought the Inventory app?

If so, you need to track your inventory first on each item,

Then, On settings, define a default warehouse for all your items.

After this settings done, just create invoices(sales) to decrease the quantity.
Bills(purchases) to increase quantity.

Remember to remove your document from the draft status.

I did not bought the Inventory app.

However, isn't the inventory management function a basic function that comes with any ERP system? Why do I need to pay for it?

In Akaunting, the inventory management is available only with the paid app.

Items of the free version are more to people who don't deal with stocks.
