How to import data from Wave?

OK. I've found Settings!! I won't ake it any further just yet: ALL my interactions with Wave are in the form of Transactions, and if it's not yet possible to import transactions, there's no point yet!!

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do with that. Wave doesn't allow you to export your transactions via API. I'd suggest contacting their support and press them to open such an API endpoint.

Hi there — I've been trying to follow the instructions, but I've twice received the same "Something is broken on this page / Our technical team has been alerted and is working on a solution" message that Marius received. I recognize that this error message comes from Wave, but I wonder if it occurs because I specified the wrong redirect URL when I created the Wave application in Akaunting. The problem is that the instructions only say "5. Redirect URL will be something like: https://app.akaunting.com/wave/auth" — which isn't helpful. How does the user know what to enter in this field? The default value in this field is just "http://localhost".

Also, I, like Antony, had trouble finding the Settings page. The installation instructions for the app could be much clearer. I write software documentation for a living, and find incomplete instructions particularly frustrating ;-)

A new version of Wave app has been released.

If you're using our Cloud service, just try again. If you're self-hosting Akaunting then first update the app then try again.

As for "https://app.akaunting.com/wave/auth" field, you should enter the domain of your Akaunting installation like "http://my-domain.com/wave/auth"

Thanks, it works now.

To be clear for future readers, step 5 in the instructions (https://app.akaunting.com/apps/wave, Instructions tab) should read:

5. Enter a value in the *Redirect URL* field.
* If you are NOT self-hosting Akaunting — that is, if you only use Akaunting in a browser — enter https://app.akaunting.com/wave/auth.
* If you are self-hosting Akaunting, enter the domain of your Akaunting installation. For example, this value might be http://my-domain.com/wave/auth.

Since the errors I experienced, it is clear a lot of work went into the Wave app. It is mostly working flawless.
When Sync- Invoices, I get the following error:

Oops! Something went wrong
500 Internal Server Error
We will work on fixing that right away.
