Import Customers to Update not Create

Hi,

Is it possible to import (existing) customers to update details?
When I import customers now it causes them all to duplicate. I do note that the user_id field is blank which seems like the obvious choice for a primary key, but it isn't populated for imported customers or those created via the UI.
