Item Description Truncated/Too Short in Invoice

Self hosted, 2.1.27.
I need to type up a detailed description for an item. As a result, it's very long. While I can enter it into the invoice Edit text field, when I save & view the invoice, the description is cut off (truncated) after a few lines. How do I increase the description field size in the invoice?
