Mark As Read Does Nothing

3.01.5 self hosted
I receive notifications but when I click "Mark as Read" (or even "Mark All As Read"), nothing happens. I reload the page, and they're still there. How do I get them to disappear when I click the checkmark?

To anyone having this issue. You can fix this by removing the trailing slash in APP_URL in your env file. That fixed the issue for me

Sadly, I already have no trailing slash and the problem still persists .,..
