No stock level

Why has the software been update and they have removed the stock level facility?

How do I get the stock control back as per the original installation package offered?

In order to conform with other accounting softwares, the inventory related fields have been removed from items. That was also requested from users that offer services, not products. However, you can use the following app if you need inventory features:

It will also import your old stock, automatically.

It had taken quite some time to find a program which was suitable for our application, most importantly the stock control application. To be in a position when you are slowly gaining confidence in a product and then to have it change overnight, does not give confidence to a new prospective buyer. All data which we had accumulated has now disappeared, why should I now invest in a product inventory control when the possibility of change without notice may lead me into the same predicament?

Unfortunately, inventory fields won't be available in the core anymore, just like with other accounting softwares.

This is a final decision and you can be sure that it hasn't been taken instantly. We're aware that it may trigger leave for some users and in such a case, all we can do is to wish the best of luck.
