I've sent out an invoice with 'inclusive tax'. This tax is not paid to me, but by the client to their government. The invoice, minus the inclusive tax, is paid to me.
So, if my invoice is, say, 575 *with* an inclusive tax of 15%, the payment I receive is 500. However, when I record a payment of 500, the invoice is still showing as not completely paid, lacking 75.
This appears counterintuitive. Also, would this extra 75 be recorded as money I receive, or not?
I just confirmed that recording the payment in full, with the inclusive tax, records the full payment into my account, which is not correct. I do not receive the inclusive tax, hence this functionality does not work as expected or desired.
How to resolve this?
Wrong Tax Name showing in invoice if two different tax are applied on different items
i.e. if first item has 18% tax & second item has 12% tax, tax showing in invoice is showing 5%
