Quick Questions.

Hope all is well.

I want to start off by thanking the developers for this beautiful app!
I have a couple of questions before I get started.
When using cloud:
1. Can I use my own email address instead of having it send from a default "Do not reply@..." ? (Would i need to install it locally for it to use my own custom email?

2. Would there be a way to bulk send email invoices?

3. Would there be a way to bulk print invoices?

I definitely do not mind paying the extra for apps if this is possible!
If not possible then I will just install it locally, modify the code and share it with the devs!

Hello Najib.

Point 1: You can setup your smtp credentials to send e-mails.

Point 2 and 3: cannot be sent Bulk e-mails or print bulk Invoices from core app.

Is SMTP possible on the cloud platform? I haven't had any luck getting it to work. It works on my linux machine using msmtp(Command line) So I know that my creds are right.

Hello Najib. I believe it is .
Go to Settings > Emails > On the bottom of the page, you have protocol.

Switch to SMTP and then set your credentials!

Hello I have set the following ON Cloud platform.
SMTP Host: smtp-mail.outlook.com
SMTP Port: 587
SMTP Security: TLS
With username and pass and still no luck.
It sends email from the Do not reply@ email

Check the email on your company.

Settings > Company

You cannot do custom SMTP on cloud instance. You must run your own instance. when using akaunting docker containers it works great!
