recurring invoice - date to be sent

I created a recurring invoice today and set the invoice date to 2021-03-01, thinking that it will be sent on the 1st of March.
But when I saved it, I got a message saying "This is a recurring invoice and the next invoice will be automatically generated on 01 Apr 2021".
How can I configure it so it will be sent on the 1st of March?
