I'm experiencing an error when using the 'Send Receipt' form to send a customer a payment received error. In the Chrome DevTools inspector panel, the console errors display as follows below. However, I have no problems sending the invoice to customer. That form works without any errors.

Send receipt error is usually related to the email settings not being configured.
Please make sure that your email settings under the settings menu are correct.
If there is a problem with your email settings, you will encounter a similar error when adding a new user.
As I mentioned in my original post, I am able to send the invoice to customers successfully. However, when I add a payment to the invoice and select the 'Save and Send' option, the modal form does not send. I have also tried using the 'Send Receipt' link but the form behaves in the same manner. I don't understand why the send invoice form works and send receipt form does not work if the email settings were not configured correctly.
