"Show" Button Missing from Invoices in List View

Not sure if this is a bug or a change to the system...
I have the estimates app and LOVE it - highest possible recommendation! - and it has the "Show" button. That is, I can hover over an estimate and there's a tooltip of icons that includes one that looks like an eyeball. I can right click on it to open in a new tab also.
The Invoices section used to have a "Show" button in its list view, but as of 3.0.x, it's gone. Is this by design, and if so how do I bring it back? It's really invaluable when doing manual calculations.
