Tax decimal rounding up

Hello, I live in Quebec and we have two tax rates:

TPS 5%

TVQ 9.975%

When I enter the TVQ, the system rounds it up to 10%, which is a problem, is there a way to have a floating tax rate with three decimals?

Thanks,

Mich

I'll second this issue.   We really need a float.

Akaunting is a great product (both taxes show in invoices and reporting), but can't work for us this way, eh!

I searched a bit more in the foum. This post seems to say it's fixed 8 month ago.  But it's not for our case. 9.X rounds up to 10.

Same problem here.  The problem seems to be only on the akaunting hosted version.  Hosted a version on my own server, setup everything, all was good but paypal doesn't seem to work on the server hosted version.  I then setup an Akaunting hosted instance, tried to setup my taxes and it gets rounded up.  Paypal seems to work on the Akaunting hosted instance though...

A workaround is edit directly the database the nuw_taxes table.

The problem is at UI only.

There is still a problem with rounding within the calculation, related to Quebec taxes.

I can use 3 decimals tax rates, but a rounding should be done at each taxes calculation. It doesn't seem to be the case.

Here is an example:
sub-total 3.50
tps 5%(default): 0.175 --> rounded to 0.18
tvq 9.975%(default): 0.349125 --> rounded to 0.35

Total 4.03
