Transaction Number TRA-

Is there a way to tell Akaunting to start at a specific transaction number? For example, I imported 800 records, I want the next transaction record to be TRA-000801.

Hello William, I'm not part of the Akaunting team however ran into this same problem with a client where we imported the records from the old system (1.3.18). We would get an error when trying to post the payments which kept the transaction from posting because of transaction number already existing.

The fix is actually really really easy but you need access to the Akaunting database. Go to the table "settings" and find the row with the key "transactions.number_next" change the value to the next one in the transactions table. (Look for the last transaction and add one number, example if the last number is 10 then make the value 11).
