Using tags or classes to group transactions

Is it possible to have tags or classes to group transactions similar to Quickbooks or Quicken ?

Why not use categories?

We need to break categories by tags or classes. For example, we rent out properties and need to know just what is the total maintenance expense (a category) but need to break it down per each unit (a tag or a class) this is required for tax purposes in the USA.

I need to know too.

I too own and rent properties and I need to divide income and expenses by each unit (apartment unit or house).

Any help would be much appreciated.

same, seems they dont have this feature, I hope they do as it helps tracking the performance of various projects etc....hope they do!
