varying discount rates on invoice?

How can I achieve varying discount rates on invoices?
E.g. I want an invoice for 2 items + shipping.
Item A discount 30%
Item B discount 20%
shipping discount 0%
obviously I can add correction positions, but is it somehow possible to set the discount rate per item?
