What happens to files attached to an invoice?

I installed Akaunting 2.1.11 using Softaculous 5.6.7 into my EasyDNS.com cPanel 94.0.7.

When I create an invoice there is a box at the bottom to attach files. Which is perfect for time-report PDFs the client wants with the invoice to justify my charges.

But when I sent a test invoice to myself, all I got was the invoice.

How/when are the attachments used?

Thanks in advance,
Richard.

Hi Richard,

This attachments are internal only.
The best you may have( I didn't test it) is to grant access to your customer to the Client's portal and then maybe when opening the invoice by there he may see the attachment.

Nope. I setup a fake customer "cash" with my email so i could login to view a $0.01 invoice. I attached a PDF to the invoice. When I login to the client portal, i see only the invoice. no mention of the attachment. If I click "download" it only downloads the invoice!

Is there a feature map for this? Or a feature request page? I really need this. If its not on the schedule, I may have to try another package! (but I like this one otherwise)

Richard did you added that idea to the forum?¿, would be nice to the customer to receive the attachment to that invoice or being able to open it when logged in to the client page.
