Why can't I delete a company from my list?

With the new rule coming in that I can only have 1 company, why can't I delete other companies to stay with only 1 company?

Hello Victor,

I have had the same issue as you with not being able to post invoices etc now the Multiple Companies restriction has been applied. I was able to go to https://app.akaunting.com/[mycompanyid]/common/companies and delete certain companies out of that list.

I hope this helps!

@David I can't go into the site you mentioned.

You will have to replace [my company id] with the id of your company. It can be found in the URL in the browser bar.

Alternatively, you can go to app.akaunting.com and click on your name in the top-left and press "Manage Companies".

Hope this helps!

I have managed to delete my other companies that left with 2. I tried to delete 1 of them but it keep stating error and want me to upgrade. I just want to leave with only 1 but it seemed the system doesn't allow and just wanted us to purchase to continue. The free 1 company doesn't apply.

The error message: Integrity constrain violation:1062
Not sure what that's mean.

Good question Victor, I have not seen this one either. A question for the devs I suppose. Best of luck

I am trying to delete my Test Company and keep getting an error message, I do have another company that I want to keep. How do I make the test company inactive in order to delete it?

Good question Jess, I believe you have to select the company you want to keep in the top left of the screen (i.e. log in to the company you want to keep) and then go and delete the company you want to get rid of.

Hope this makes sense,
Dave
