A few ideas

Firstly thanks a lot to you guys for providing this free software. It feels so good knowing that there are so many good people out there. I am using Akaunting for my small manufacturing business and would like to request a few things that I have come across on other platforms

1. Please allow more than one email address per customer
2. Also allow the same email to be used across multiple customers. This is specially important where you have a central AP team but multiple outlets each invoiced separately
3. It would be great if we could discount by line instead of discounting an entire invoice
4. Finally, multi level pricing would be awesome. I don't mind paying for a separate app if this was available somewhere else

Hello Girish,

Will consider #1 and #2 for the next versions.

#3 is already available, check out the Settings > Localisation > Discount Location option.

#4 what do you exactly mean with "multi-level"?

I used to work in a web dev agency..... Multi Level is very common (nearly every customer we had)..... The ability to create multiple pricing rules on a per category, per tag or per sku basis. Typically these are rules on qty pricing. Ie 1-3 units is x, 4-9 is Y and 10+ is Z. Others discount categories or rates per user group. From an ecommerce point of view we used to display the base rate for the user type viewing (based on login status) and refresh rate on input change.

As Micheal said, it is the ability to set different pricing for different customers and at different buying quantities creating a matrix. Eg, your base selling price is $1.00 but you have a big wholesale customer who you sell at $0.80 everytime. Without multi level, you either have to discount the product everytime and have to remember their price. With multilevel, the system automatically picks up the price for that customer. I was trying to attach an image of what it looks like but I can't see an option to do that on the discussion. That might also be something handy to have. Thanks for responding to the other queries

It seems you're looking for the Item Groups feature of the Inventory app. Check out the following screenshot:

Hello Denis,

I think the picture you shared https://prnt.sc/s9l5e7 is product variances.
multi-level pricing Giris's mentioned would be called Volume Pricing detail here https://tinyurl.com/y77ms7n2.

"#3 is already available, check out the Settings > Localisation > Discount Location option."
I just installed fresh latest version 2.0.10 and could not find this feature line discount.

Lux

Hello,

Unfortunately, such a pricing method won't be available in the core. I would suggest creating a new discussion in the Custom App/Work category so that our developer community could make it available.

As for discount: https://prnt.sc/scfeyt
