Dashboard Widget Items Need Links

Dashboard widgets are useless. I have enabled them all - I particularly like the Receivables widget - but all it does is give a mini-report. I need links. For example, there are lines for 31-60 days overdue. I want to click that line so I can *see* what invoices are overdue. That is, when I click it I'm taken to the invoices page where a search filter for days overdue has been applied. I'd do this myself if I knew where the code was stored...
