Disable Emails Being Sent To Customers?

Is there any way to prevent emails from being sent to the customer when payments are marked as paid? I do not send invoices or estimates through akaunting, I merely use it to keep track of everything so don't want customers to be receiving any emails. Thanks

Unfortunately, that's not possible at the moment but I moved to topic to Ideas category so we could add it in the next versions.

For now, you can make the following change in the .env file available in the root directory of your Akaunting installation:

MAIL_MAILER=array

I am looking for this functionality as well, would be amazing to be able to select which mails I want to send and which not, in order to prevent spamming my customers.

What do you mean by MAIL_MAILER=array? If I set my value from MAIL_MAILER=mail to MAIL_MAILER=array, no e-mails will be sent at all?

I also would like the option of not sending email when a payment is received.

It is very confusing default behavor actually. Clients don't expect this email and when moving to akaunting for the first time we send a lot of old 'payment received' emails.

Hi, just joined Akaunting and I love all the features but this has me a bit frustrated. Before I move fully to Akaunting I would like to opt out of sending emails to clients. Thanks.
