items Ser. No in Invoice or Quote

I would like to add serial no. in invoice or in quote like so many other software do in detail like

Ser #   Barcode   Name

1)        000010   Shoe  

2)        000020   Seal kit

3)        000111  Light

and it should be automatically generated

I don't think this will be added to the core but you may post such a request to the Custom App/Work category so that other developers could give you an offer for custom development.
