Sub-acounts within the Chart of Account

We should be able to make sub-accounts. For instance, under Sales, we need to make 1. Sales - Textbooks 2. Sales - Perfumes 3. Sales - Food, etc. And we should see all these sales accounts (1,2,3, etc) under the general Sales account within the chart of account.

You should get this app for chart of accounts.

I agree with Mohd. With the Double Entry App we can create a chart of accounts but no Account Groups which I would require as well.

I think you could somewhat achieve this using the Items section.  For instance, create an item for Textbooks, another for Purfumes, another for Food, etc.  It appears these will roll up into Sales automatically.  You can also associate a category for each of these but I'm not sure how all this hits the income reports.

The problem with this appears to be that it would only work for inventory sales.  If Items were expanded a bit, that would go a long way (i.e., an option to create inventory items, another option to create a services item; a field to select a specific income account so that the user could have an inventory-related sales account and a services-related sales account).
