500 Internal Server Error

I uploaded files to ftp but http://your-domain/akaunting-directory when I click on the link it gives the following error

Error! Something went wrong
500 Internal Server Error
We will try to fix this immediately.

You will want to make sure you have the proper permissions set on all of the files and folders. Possible permissions: folders at 0755 and files at 0644.

You should be able to change the permissions via your CPanel->File Manager.

Otherwise if permissions are not the problem, you will need access to your error logs on your server (ex.Apache/PHP logs). You may have to ask your hosting provider for this if you do not have access to them.
