Hi Ravinder, is there any pointers in the logs ([akaunting directory]/storage/logs)?

Is it a permissions issue? You might also check your apache logs...
I got the same issue, but after I fixed the ownership and permissions of my directory and files it fixed it.

Olá Konrad, poderia me dizer como fez isso?

Hi Jackson, I used SSH to log into my server to change the permissions from 644 to 755.
For my server config, this made it work.

Obrigado pela resposta Konrad, mas foi em alguma pasta especifica? Porque o diretório raiz já está com a permissão 775

when I unzipped the akaunting software it defaulted to 644 for some reason.
This is where I saw the 500 internal server error.
I used chmod 755 -R on every file and directory in the public_html folder.
This worked for me, but it could be a bunch of other problems causing your 500 internal server error.
Checking your logs will probably give you a better idea as to what is wrong.
Could be the file ownership is incorrect, could be a missing plugin for apache... Good Luck.

Entendi, não foi o meu caso, funcionou pra mim com as dicas do Leonardo Gomes
