Attachments for Bills and Transaction

Hi, I recently updated to the latest version and I noticed that I could no longer download my attachments. I have self-hosted version with a mariadb instance. When I clicked on the attachment, it would just not retrieve and went to blank screen. I had to reupload 3 months worth of attachment. I was luck that I had these saved. However, I am curious. Is there a way to download the attachments from the DB directly? Because I could see the attachments in the media table but it just didn't download from the web interface.
