Can' install PHP CLI error

Tomislav Balabanov   ( User )

Hello,

When I open the installer on browser it shows the following errors:

"The PHP CLI executable file is not working! Please, ask your hosting company to set PHP_BINARY or PHP_PATH environment variable correctly."

I write to host support, and they said to ask what changes should be made in order this app to work?

Kind regards,
Tomislav.

Hello Tomislav,

They must be sure that PHP CLI executable file is defined/working and its version is 7.2.5 or higher.

You can also set the proper PHP CLI path and set it in the .env file of Akaunting like the following:

PHP_BINARY="/path/to/php"

Hi Denis
Thanks for this response.

My HTTP PHP version is 7.4, but CLI is by default 7.1. Thus, I created an .env file. The only content is:
PHP_BINARY="/usr/php74/usr/bin/php"

This path is definitely correct, but unfortunately, it doesn't work... do you have any idea what to do?

Thanks and best
Luca
